Coram Deo
Words: Jesse Rey Quesada.
Before Your face, O God, I long to make my home –
Submitting every thought; obeying Christ alone.
To live with my eyes set upon
The crucified and risen Son,
Who sits exalted on the throne.
My deepest heart’s intent lies bare before Your eyes;
No scheme which I invent is hidden from Your sight.
Thus let this be my soul’s pursuit:
To be found walking in the truth,
And live life unashamed to You,
Every day I live, coram Deo.
Every breath I breathe, coram Deo.
Every single hour, coram Deo.
I will live before the face of God.

Lord, let Your present face be comfort to my soul –
Your love, my source of grace; Your Seal, to guard my hope.
To ne’er forget redeemed I stand –
My righteousness found in the Lamb,
And dead to all that sin demands.
My life is not my own; my will, I lay it down.
May I be overthrown, and Christ be all that’s found.
All else but You I count as loss,
Take captive every deed and thought,
And live before Your face, O God.
