Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus

Therefore if you’ve been raised with Jesus,

Keep seeking the things from above,

Where at the right hand Christ is seated

Beside Him whose great name is Love.

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,

Look full in His wonderful face,

And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,

In the light of His glory and grace.

Yes, set your mind on things above you,

Not things on the earth, here below,

Because you have died and been made new –

Your life hidden with Christ in God.

Christ who is your life shall appear soon –

Revealed in the clouds when He comes –

And with Him you shall then appear too

In glory, conformed to the Son.
